Migraine Headaches Support Group
Migraine is a neurological disease, of which the most common symptom is an intense and disabling episodic headache. Migraine headaches are usually characterized by severe pain on one or both sides of the head and are often accompanied by photophobia (hypersensitivity to light), phonophobia (hypersensitivity to sound) and nausea.
Well, it turns out that after 3 years of suffereing with this dizzy symptom, and finally fainting, I was diagnosed with low blood pressure. Now I take medicine to help elevate the blood pressure, and the dizziness is almost completely gone.
But, I also know when I don't eat for a few days I get weak from hunger, too.
However, you may want to keep an eye on your blood pressure.
Take care!
However, not eating can also contribute to being light headed, and your blood suger might have been off.
Migraines are tricky.... that light-headed feeling can also be anxiety.....which you seemed to describe happening at wal-mart.
It can take time to find what works for you, and what you have to keep on hand at home and work to make things easier for yourself when you are gettting one. If your meds work 90% of the time, you are lucky. So, try to find a foods you can eat to sustain your body and not cause other problems. Good luck.
