Migraine headaches are usually characterized by severe pain on one or both sides of the head and are often accompanied by photophobia (hypersensitivity to light), phonophobia (hypersensitivity to sound) and nausea.
Hi, just went into a shop and on coming into the outside I had these flashing lights and blired vision, I paniced like mad and sat in our car trying to get calm. After about 20 mins it all cleared but now I have awfoll headache, which I have had many times without lights, anyone else get this , I am so nervouse about it. love to all.

Hi I'm Toya. I get flashing lights before most of my headaches it's called an aura. Kinda like ur body warning u to watch out. The pain usually follows w/in 30 min. So usually when I seen these lights I take advil to prevent my headache. I also get other auras the blurry vision, dizziness, and sometimes I see shadows in my peripheral field of vision. I hope this helps.

Dear Flower, i get the flashing lights too. Either before or during the headache. It seems to be quite common.

i get the auras also but not the headache. If i skip meals weather changes and eat chocolate or drink red wine i get these migraine auras. They last about 3o mins and then go away but feel washed out a little after they happen. I seem to get them in clusters. I had one two days ago and had another one tonight.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus).
