Migraine Headaches Support Group
Migraine is a neurological disease, of which the most common symptom is an intense and disabling episodic headache. Migraine headaches are usually characterized by severe pain on one or both sides of the head and are often accompanied by photophobia (hypersensitivity to light), phonophobia (hypersensitivity to sound) and nausea.
I'm soooo sorry you are going through this and the pain/suffering is so severe : ( My 15 year old son has migraines---didn't have them for over a year and they've started coming back----I HATE migraines!!! He's upstairs sick with one right now and I have a call in to his Dr. (actually a P.A.). Please become a "squeaky wheel" and insist they figure out an Rx/Tx that will give you some relief! Have you been admitted to the hospital for that IV drug that stops the cycle (TPF or something like that, it's been a few years since my son had to do that, but it seemed to work---I also had him start accupuncture and chinese herbs, blus Nortryptaline as a preventative---it might be time for Nick to start all that again).
Anyway, please, please talk to your Dr. and let him know how bad you are feeling b/c of the pain----they need to keep trying stuff!!! Your in my thoughts and prayers....Kati
hang in there
