Since December 13 I have been experiencing every day tingling in my hands it starts in my left less funtional hand then the right hand starts to in time they become clammy but now there even sweaty. It rarely stops and when it does it doesn't stay away. Sometimes I will also experience hot flashes and cold flashes. A couple of times I have experienced slight short tingling in other parts of my body. 4years ago I experienced tingling all throughout my body it also started in my left hand but that time I had mainly tingling, vary little clammyness and no sweating. Last time they just increased my lamottragine dosage and sied it was migraine aura I was having. Since the increased dosage I haven't had a migraine. This time increasing my dosage hasn't changed anything. I have only experience slight tingling that whent away as soon as I switched to a activity that involves both my hands between these 2 times. It isvary uncomfortable and drives me crazy. I'm 21.

Have you ever experienced this. Please help me.

I really have no clue. Maybe hot flashes and cold flashes can be a part of aura, but that could be other things too. That would be my concern. Not that it's headaches, but something else. I would monitor your symptoms, and if they don't get better, ask for some blood work. It would be a place to start.

Hi! I'm 20, and I have something similar to the hot and cold flashes, but more often than not it's cold flashes instead of hot. I also get tingling sometimes. My aura is a weird mod-podge of things, so it depends on the day. As to your question, it could be something else, but it is also possible for it to be just migraines. I've done a lot of tests, and I know in my case it's just migraines. I hope that's reassuring!

AngstyPanda is right. Aura can be very complex. What you have very well may simply be aura. I was just suggesting that if you THINK your doc could be wrong, or if you are feeling nervous about it, just have some other tests done to....I guess put your mind at ease.

My doctor did end up getting me to get some blood tests done.it all came back normal. He is not quite sure that it's migraines also because of the lanth of time it stays. If I do research online my problems stay to long to be a migraine aura. Tingling and sweaty auras last 10 to 30 minutes mine can last for hours with no brake. So he increased my lamottragine dosage like last time but since it hasn't gotten any better get. Me and my parents desided I would start taking a multi vitamin and a b12 vitimin to see if it's a deficiency of some sort. There's some relitives that have vitamin deficiency. If in a week or two it doesn't get better we plan to make a nother doctor appointment to see what to do next.

But I do agree with Yvette. Migraines can have lots of different causes, and it is worth pursuing, especially if they can turn up something that will ultimately lead to a cure. But hopefully you feel a little reassured. :)
