Migraine is a neurological disease, of which the most common symptom is an intense and disabling episodic headache. Migraine headaches are usually characterized by severe pain on one or both sides of the head and are often accompanied by photophobia (hypersensitivity to light), phonophobia (hypersensitivity to sound) and nausea.
I'm not sure what to tell you as I don't believe I have auras. I just get the migraines. It sounds like the change in climate could be triggers and there's not much you can do about this! Also take a look at your diet...eating differently?

Now that I recognize the auras, I try to calm myself and "ride out" the auras with as little anxiety as possible. That actually seems to make the aura move on faster.
Because the numbness has become a daily event, however, I am seeing a migraine specialist on Monday (I'm already under the care of a neurologist). I just want to rule out anything more than annoying aura.
