Migraine Headaches Support Group
Migraine is a neurological disease, of which the most common symptom is an intense and disabling episodic headache. Migraine headaches are usually characterized by severe pain on one or both sides of the head and are often accompanied by photophobia (hypersensitivity to light), phonophobia (hypersensitivity to sound) and nausea.
Thank you for your response. Sounds like we have been through a lot of the same things. My doc gave me some muscle relaxers to help with the spasms, so hopefully that will help things. One weird thing I have noticed is that my doc doesn't have me currently on any preventatives. I used to be, but he took me off of them. He won't give me abortives, other than Torodol, which doesn't always help that much. I guess he is hoping the Botox will do the trick. I see him again on June 1; hopefully he will be able to figure something out then.
Lynn- Thanks for the info. I am willing to do anything, so if another set of Botox is recommended, I will try it. Thanks for the advice!
