Migraine Headaches Support Group
Migraine is a neurological disease, of which the most common symptom is an intense and disabling episodic headache. Migraine headaches are usually characterized by severe pain on one or both sides of the head and are often accompanied by photophobia (hypersensitivity to light), phonophobia (hypersensitivity to sound) and nausea.
I will say though, I am struggling right now. But you make a good point I had not considered before. Our humidity is building and by the end of the month we will be in monsoon season. Perhaps that is my problem now. I had never considered humidity change.
Also, when we get news that it is an ozone day here, by the time it is on the news, I already have a bad migraine. It's because the ozone at that time is close to the Earth's surface and it is a gas that is a harmful air pollutant and for me it gives me migraines.
I live in southern California, and I'm triggered by hot Santa Ana winds, 100 degree temps, low humidity.
So, everyone is different, but probably has a weather trigger!!
