we need every kind of person in the world, including YOU. Do what you love, love your family, love yourself. You are perfect the way you are...I know sometimes it is really hard to believe that but it is true. I have a son who is mmr and he loves Michael Jackson..he can't sing at all but he sings all of his songs at the top of his lungs...not caring what anyone thinks. He just loves his music and I can't listen to any Michael Jacson song without thinking about him. I love that about him. He just loves what he loves and that is that.

MR doesn't define you! There are so many people who are disabled that are great and very fun! Don't be stuck on feeling down that you have disability, just live how you want to live, and people will love you!

I believe I do as well. I sure missed the boat in the social thing. I am clueless and friendless. Be yourself, be as nice as you can and people who you deserve will be attracted to you. Hang in there, I know it's tough.

Its a shame how school teach all these other subjects but does not incorporate a class for each grade on socializing with others and understanding others. I went through school as a child with no issues but found it hard to believe that year after year the teachers could teach about sex and biology of a human body but rarely do you see a class geared toward psychology. These classes would help others understand the differences of others better. I had a lot of friends who suffered from different mental challenges and it was hard not understanding how people could look at them so funny and sometimes even make fun of them. I got in a lot of trouble defending my friends and all I would like to see is people teach their kids about differences better. So they could understand others who may do things differently. My son is getting tested for autism. He rock back and forth, laugh out loud at his thoughts, and play with his fingers as he walk back and forth. His classmates feel like he is too strange because their parents/guardians haven't taken the time to teach them about people who act or do things different. So I know your struggles to a certain extent. It would be wrong if I said I completely understand how you feel. I will be praying for you. Just be you the best way you know how to. Just like pupwolf said wut iz normal? We all have some type of challenge. Mine is feelings of being trapped in a life where I can't see to me but yet see to everyone elses needs.

My wife is as you and I assure you there are plenty of people who love others just the way they are. You are a gift and I know it and live my ife with a wonderfully challenged lady who teaches me everyday to be a better person. If she were not so different I doubt I would have been so interested in her and her purity of heart as well.

This is such an interesting topic for me. My brother is much like you, he always asks "why me". But he is so special to me, I would never question why he is the way that he is. Everything that imperfect about him, thats what makes him human, and thats what makes him my brother. I'm sure if you asked him he would say that he often feels inadequate or held back by his mental challenges, but I feel like he has a one up on everyone for having such a beautifully unique view of the world.
All the people that will ever question you or hate on you because you are not "normal", those people are simple and narrow minded, if thats "normal" I would hate to be them!
I believe you have something very important to offer this world, please don't ever be sad for not being normal!
