Menopause is the physiological cessation of menstrual cycles associated with advancing age. It normally occurs in women between the ages of 45 and 55, when the body begins to slow and stop the production of eggs, estrogen and progesterone production decreases, and menstruation diminishes, eventually stopping altogether.

What coping skills are most helpful to you in dealing with your illness. I am having alot of trouble with keeping any normal schedule in my life. I deal with alot of emotional symptoms...is it harder for you to keep structure when you have emotional symptoms? How do you know when to work through the "pain" and when you can't. Any advice from you sweet people would be appreciated.

I slammed into meno for a bit last year, also have CFS, and suddenly decided I needed to start setting boundaries, which is new thing for me. The people around me haven't had their 'light bulb moment yet'.
I hope they own flashlights, this darkness and evil could be with me awhile. LOL!
And being macabre and a bit sarcastic is how I cope?! Like saying something worse makes what I have feel like less.
