Menopause Support Group
Menopause is the physiological cessation of menstrual cycles associated with advancing age. It normally occurs in women between the ages of 45 and 55, when the body begins to slow and stop the production of eggs, estrogen and progesterone production decreases, and menstruation diminishes, eventually stopping altogether.
Originally, I was on Prempro for about 4 months and it did not help me at all. Then my doc switched me to Activella and it made all the difference in the world. I still have hot flashes and night sweats, but not to the degree I did a couple of years ago. Plus, I live in the deep, deep south where 90% humidity is common this time of year and our heat index is generally over 100. I think if I lived somewhere cooler I would be symptom free .
google up "activella user reviews". I am happy with how it as helped me.
