Menopause Support Group
Menopause is the physiological cessation of menstrual cycles associated with advancing age. It normally occurs in women between the ages of 45 and 55, when the body begins to slow and stop the production of eggs, estrogen and progesterone production decreases, and menstruation diminishes, eventually stopping altogether.
Although you have a period, it does not necessarily mean you can get pregnant. You can have a period without ovulating in which case you can't get pregnant because there was no egg to fertilize. The best way to determine if your cycle was anovulatory or not is to temp the same time every morning until you figure out your pattern. If you need help with that just message me and I can tell you further.
Good Luck, Donna
