From what I understand yes you can. Funny you asked this because Friday night at my parents house we were talking about menopause, etc. My father said that my uncle was a change of life baby. She started menopause at 42.. My grandmother (who by the way turned 100 years old this past July) started going though her changes and ended up pregnant with my uncle. From what my dad said it was a whole big thing because my grandmother thought she was dying with cancer and tumors and turns out she was pregnant.

I think as long as you have a period, chances are you can get pregnant, even the periods may be irregular. So there is still a chance for you to get pregnant, hopefully it will happen for you. I don't have to worry about becoming pregnant I had my three in my twenties and early thirties and the youngest is 18 now and graduating high school. You can still have children until your fully done with your cycles, God willing of course.

Although you have a period, it does not necessarily mean you can get pregnant. You can have a period without ovulating in which case you can't get pregnant because there was no egg to fertilize. The best way to determine if your cycle was anovulatory or not is to temp the same time every morning until you figure out your pattern.
