Menopause Support Group
Menopause is the physiological cessation of menstrual cycles associated with advancing age. It normally occurs in women between the ages of 45 and 55, when the body begins to slow and stop the production of eggs, estrogen and progesterone production decreases, and menstruation diminishes, eventually stopping altogether.
But now it's been 3 1/2 weeks, and my husband and I are starting to discuss sex again, which is often a prelude to actually performing it, his schedule, my schedule, and the proximity of the child (sorry about the TMI).
The stuff comes in the form of a cream, in a tube that's designed to squeeze out 1 gram at a time. You apply it to the back of your knee after your shower each night, then wear something that covers it, thus preventing it from being spread onto sheets and furniture, thereby exposing anyone else, including pets, to any contact with it. The amount is for 30 days, and a month after I finish with it, I have to go get my hormone levels checked.
Luckily, J is understanding. And like I said, I had a good week, so I could have one or more good days next week.
Will keep you posted.
Hugs to all!
Maybe it takes a few months for the testosterone cream to kick in?
I don't know. I need to check with my gynecologist.
