Menopause Support Group
Menopause is the physiological cessation of menstrual cycles associated with advancing age. It normally occurs in women between the ages of 45 and 55, when the body begins to slow and stop the production of eggs, estrogen and progesterone production decreases, and menstruation diminishes, eventually stopping altogether.
Hard to let go allitle.
I just try to keep taking deep breaths and hang on.
It does help to know we are not alone in this. I usually feel a little better in the evenings, just to wake up horrible again every day.
Are you having anxiety as well? My anxiety is very bad, and I don't know how to get it to stop. Deep breathing helps a little.
Maybe if we just keep talking about our feelings, and trying to help each other through, we can get to the end.
I think menopause in itself can be quite challenging, then to add life changes on top of it makes it even worse.
Hope everyone is doing well.
I think that is the worst about all of this no-one seems to take me seriously. Very frustrating. I know how I feel and not exaggerating Most just. look at me and pretty much say just go with it. I am trying. Isend my best thoughts to all of you.....
I hope the new gyn listens to you, and can help.
I totally understand about how most people want to tell you to just get over it. People who have never went through it, or experienced anxiety do not know that it's something we can't just turn off. It does get very frusterating at times.
I travel with my husband for work, so I hardly every get any socialization. My husband is not a talker, not not much communication there either.
I hope you are having a good day.
Take Care..
It's good that you are able to see your Mother often, and actually bring her home. I don't really know what it's like to be close to a Mother. Mine was always sick which is why I was raised by an Aunt. Sometimes I think it would be so nice if I could just call my Mom for advice. She is still alive, and I can call her, but I have to watch what I say as to not throw her in an episode.
Have you tried therapy at all? I took a bit of time off from work when I first started feeling bad. I saw 2 different therapists, but didn't seem to click with either one. Now I'm doing online therapy which is much cheaper. I feel like it has helped some. She has me working on acceptance. Which is something I feel I do need help with. Accepting change is very hard, it makes it harder when we fight it.
i sure will let you know if I find that miracle. I know I'm my heart and soul that life can be great again. I just can't get my mind wrapped around that fact.
Hope your day is good.
I ended up taking a 1/2 of a clonazepam yesterday because I just could not get it together. I hate when I do that. It makes me feel weak. I'm feeling decent today, so hoping for a good day. The weather is very nice, which helps some with the mood.
Hope today is a good day for you. I'll be on again later if there's anything you want to talk about.
I have not heard from mom this morning I think she is going to it. I have to back away alittle as long as she is taken care of I need to relax alittle. I. Just feel so guilty . They discussed in group last night that she cared for and if there is a problem they will let me know. I think a support group for you is a great idea. I like face to face contact.Take care
