Menopause is the physiological cessation of menstrual cycles associated with advancing age. It normally occurs in women between the ages of 45 and 55, when the body begins to slow and stop the production of eggs, estrogen and progesterone production decreases, and menstruation diminishes, eventually stopping altogether.
I take it but I hate it. And I have a brain tumor and Graves' Disease.
I also have a family history of ovarian, thyroid cancers.
You have to decide if you want more quality of life than you do or you just want to wait it out. I wouldn't go and jump on the bandwagon about HRT. I really don't believe in it but I had no choice and to be honest, I'm still not well.
I think when we have other illnesses in the mix, HRT doesn't help all that much. But that's just my opinion.
I'm still back and forth on the decision. As you said, quality of life is the question, but at what cost?
Again, I send to you a big hug and a lot of good energy.
And I can't lose any more of my life.
