Menopause Support Group
Menopause is the physiological cessation of menstrual cycles associated with advancing age. It normally occurs in women between the ages of 45 and 55, when the body begins to slow and stop the production of eggs, estrogen and progesterone production decreases, and menstruation diminishes, eventually stopping altogether.
I did leave a reply in the prolactinoma support group as well. I don't suffer with burning eyes, nose and mouth but do suffer badly with hot flashes especially when under stress. I am suffering dreadfully with anxiety and think at the time that I am having a TIA. I went to my GP this morning as I work up feeling sick dizzy nauseous and she checked me out and said no TIA it was anxiety, but my neck and shoulder were very tight probably causing foggy feeling which in turn led to more anxiety leading to more tension etc etc so she told me to go home and relax! I have been using Frankincense oil for the last month and it does appear to help my anxiety.
I sorry to hear about your aniexty.
I have it everyday. I was on Xanax but stop taken . I was looking for something natural or herbs. I am going to go out today and look for the frankincense oil. That sounds so cool. Where do u buy this at and how do u use it?
Also I started yoga and it has helped.
Thanks
Linda
I buy it from a little shop which sells essential oils. some pharmacies sell it here in England or you can buy online. When I'm feeling anxious I either just inhale from the bottle or I put a few drops on my temples or on my forehead.
I also mix it with a carrier oil and other essential oils and massage around my neck and arms. I also use this mix in my bath. This is all very new for me and still experimenting with different oils, and for whatever reason it does appear to help.
I came across an online blog from a girl who was using this as a natural way to shrink her prolactinoma but can't find it again now! try doing a search for frankincense and anxiety or frankincense and prolactinoma and see what comes up.
I hope you start to feel better soon. Although I am not 100% I find I am having many more better days than bad.
So r you going thru menopause and pituitary tumor also? I see you are in both support groups.. That is where I am at . My dermatogist said yesterday that I have roscea. That is way my eyes are burning. I looked this up and u can get this from menopause and stress . So I have another pill to take. I hope he right.
I am so happy that u r having more better days. I took my husband to a ball game last nite in Philadelphia for his birthday. I prayed all day to be able to get thru the whole day.
I made it and we had a great time . I did start getting tire and lightheaded at the end of the night. It was a long day. I am hoping to get some relief with my burning eyes. But overall my pray was anwer. It was nice to feel good for one day like to old me. I see my doctor on Tuesday with the results of my second blood test since I have been on cab. I am aliitle nervous. But I try to stay in the day not jumping from Saturday to Tuesday.
Thanks for getting back to me.

No one knows. My eye doctor said I had it and told me to go to the derm doctor . The burning in my eyes nose and mouth is unbelieveable . He said to try for a month to see. I think it's my hormones not that I have this pituatory tumor. My skin is really oily and hair. I always had dry skin. No answers because everyone is in a rush today . I see my neut. Doctor on Tuesday . All this is at Jefferson university . One of the best in Philadelphia. To be continue.. Lol.
Why is it that people think that women r making thinks up. This is old news menopause. Believe it.. It's really happen.
Back in the day they would put women away in a mental hospital .. So this has been going on for centuries. Get with it medical doctors ..
Okay. I feel better. I let that all out.
But I am not 100% sure that it's roseca. Ever r the doctors . I am hoping to find out Soon so this burning stops.
Have a great day
Linda
