Menopause Support Group
Menopause is the physiological cessation of menstrual cycles associated with advancing age. It normally occurs in women between the ages of 45 and 55, when the body begins to slow and stop the production of eggs, estrogen and progesterone production decreases, and menstruation diminishes, eventually stopping altogether.
I know how devastating it can be! Are you in natural menopause? Has the texture changed? Are you having many other meno symptoms?
Hope things start improving!
I don't think it's the lack of estrogen alone that causes it. My experience and from what I've read says that it is hormone imbalance.
I am not on HRT and I have noticed LESS shedding than the few years prior to my TAH/BSO.
I believe it's all about Testosterone and Androgens.. but I'm not a doctor.. and I only know what has happend to me. Here is the link to the article!
