Menopause Support Group
Menopause is the physiological cessation of menstrual cycles associated with advancing age. It normally occurs in women between the ages of 45 and 55, when the body begins to slow and stop the production of eggs, estrogen and progesterone production decreases, and menstruation diminishes, eventually stopping altogether.

Hi, I'm new to the group. I feel so hopeless! My PMS symptoms start about 10 days before my period and they're ruining my life. The fatigue and cramps are the worst. They interfere with my job and home life. I'm on the pill, Wellbutrin, Celexa, Chasteberry, Magnesium, Calcium and B vitamins. If I had enough PTO I'd have a hysterectomy. What else can I do??

Talk to your doctor. I was the same. I had endometriosis & had a hysterectomy. I was lucky & had a full 6 years before menopause kicked in. That's another horror story, but it too can be managed with diet, exercise. Hugs!

Hi, I also had a fatigue that was so bad i could not get out of bed. Even showering was hard. But that was all I did for activity in one day. It was very lonely and hard. What worked was lots of herbal products but mainly I went onto a different diet. I cut out sugar, coffee and white foods . I ate mostly all raw foods and vegies and protein shakes. I read somewhere that diet can be responsible for fatigue. It certainly worked for me. I am better from this fatigue now. But still eating very well and have lost weight too. However, I still have anxiety, constant sweats, terrible memory and lately chronic depression. But, my HRT is not sorted out yet. I hope you find the cause for this fatigue Cedarbrooke. Look online into foods that can heal "chronic fatigue". Hugs to you.
