Menopause Support Group
Menopause is the physiological cessation of menstrual cycles associated with advancing age. It normally occurs in women between the ages of 45 and 55, when the body begins to slow and stop the production of eggs, estrogen and progesterone production decreases, and menstruation diminishes, eventually stopping altogether.
I've been having a lot of the same symptoms: breat pain, tenderness and mood swings. I'm still on birth control pills, only really to help me just feel human. I went off them for several months and it was pure hell the way I felt.
I have been wondering if I should talk to my doctor about HRT or ???
I had a diagnostic mammogram yesterday, and after the doctor looked at the views, scheduled me for ultrasound.
I did take your advice, Sawyer. Vitamin E helps. I read a lot last weekend and started taking some flax oil and other oils with Omega 3, 6, etc and primrose oil.
I have to admit I'm a little scared. The lumpiness in my breasts has always been there, but this one (where it's hurting) seems to have gotten bigger.
I would appreciate your prayers.
