Menopause Support Group
Menopause is the physiological cessation of menstrual cycles associated with advancing age. It normally occurs in women between the ages of 45 and 55, when the body begins to slow and stop the production of eggs, estrogen and progesterone production decreases, and menstruation diminishes, eventually stopping altogether.

I woke this morning extremely anxious to the point of almost having panic attacks. It's time for me to start but haven't yet. I get this way every time, yet it scares me still. I hate this feeling.

Hello. Anxiety and menopause seem to go hand in hand. When the hormones are out of balance then so is the body...understandably so.I dont know if you are taking any meds or supplements but your anxiety would indicate that you need to find a bit of balance.Talk to your Doctor. You dont need to suffer this and even if you take something short term, it will help to balance you out.

Sorry to hear what you are going through. It seems you don't know about your triggers as of now, I would suggest you start maintaining a health journal to keep track of the things that leave you stressed out to better deal with them. Also get medical help if you feel to overwhelmed, sometimes its better to seek help to solve a problem before it gets worse. I would also suggest you start reading mental health blogs available online( I read at : your mental health pal) as these can provide valuable insights and ways to better deal with your mental health problems to lead a fulfilling life. Take care

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
