Menopause Support Group
Menopause is the physiological cessation of menstrual cycles associated with advancing age. It normally occurs in women between the ages of 45 and 55, when the body begins to slow and stop the production of eggs, estrogen and progesterone production decreases, and menstruation diminishes, eventually stopping altogether.

My anxiety has gotten a lot worse in the last 3 years or so, at first I didn't clue in that I am in perimenopause as other than anxiety, I have very few symptoms.
Mainly I feel like everyone else thinks I am crazy and laughing at me behind my back. Not that it would be any better in front of me...
I'm in menopause, and have been for five years now. I started
getting anxiety at tacks a few years ago, too. My doc tor put me
on different antidepressants. Right now, I'm on Cymbalta for
depression and nerve pain. It works very well. I was also on
Pristique, which helps with anxiety and panic attacks. But, it
caused more sweating, so I went back on the Cymbalta.
Good Luck! I hope you find the right treatment for your anxiety
attacks! Don't ever give up hope!
Sincerely,

I feel like I have this cloud hovering over me at all times. I can't seem to get away from it. ICANNOT stay focused on one task long enough to complete it ( cleaning my house). I am constantly on edge and heres a kicker....I am very sensitive to certain noises ( Rattling of paper drives me insane).
I could go on but I hope I answered your question.
