Menopause is the physiological cessation of menstrual cycles associated with advancing age. It normally occurs in women between the ages of 45 and 55, when the body begins to slow and stop the production of eggs, estrogen and progesterone production decreases, and menstruation diminishes, eventually stopping altogether.
First of all, I want to thank those of you who have stuck with me through all of the issues I've been dealing with.
I put in a complaint on Rate Md's and am sending a letter to my insurance company regarding the shoddy treatment I got from the nurse practitioner and her staff.
I got in to see an amazing obgyn doctor. In fact, he is endorsed by suzanne somers for his expertise in hormone replacement therapy.
He fully understood my concerns and is having me stay on vivelle dot .05 and said he wants to add progesterone cream and maybe even testosterone cream in tiny amounts.
He said sometimes the vivelle dot alone isn't enough to help. He said he also prescribes Biest, but wants to try this first.
I start the progesterone cream as soon as I get it filled and he wants to see me in four weeks.
He seemed very knowledgeable and truly cares about how I feel.
It makes the experience with that other office seem trivial!
I'm hoping my anxiety, hot spells and mood swings get better soon.

I hope you saw that link I gave you from e-how, re. filing a report with the AMA and Better Business Bureau. Not only was the office manager horrible to you, but so was the NP. Sounds like Morale there is Horrible!
