Menopause is the physiological cessation of menstrual cycles associated with advancing age. It normally occurs in women between the ages of 45 and 55, when the body begins to slow and stop the production of eggs, estrogen and progesterone production decreases, and menstruation diminishes, eventually stopping altogether.
Anyone else finding that their anger is increasing as the hormones shift? I began having more anger issues the past few years, which seems to correlate to when perimenopause began. I'm sort of pms at the moment, but suspect I'm having an anovulatory cycle.
Do you relate, and if so, what's to be done about it (beside using anti-depressants)?
