Menopause Support Group
Menopause is the physiological cessation of menstrual cycles associated with advancing age. It normally occurs in women between the ages of 45 and 55, when the body begins to slow and stop the production of eggs, estrogen and progesterone production decreases, and menstruation diminishes, eventually stopping altogether.

Hope things improve for you soon!
Your worry is somewhat indicative of the anxiety we all seem to acquire with perimeno. I also had worries about physical changes too, but that is part of our adrenals kicking in to compensate and producing adrenalin, the "flight or fight" hormone. We seem in a hyper state all the time. I am a runner and that helped me to tone down some of my anxiety, but other times, I could not do that and had to tell myself I was OK, there was nothing to fear etc.
I stopped drinking so much caffeine about a month ago and I feel a big difference. I am on a very low dose HT (am trying to taper off permanently) and I think I am doing very well bc the caffeine isn't fighting with the estrogen any longer.
Try to eat a healthy diet, plenty of vegs, little sugar etc....that might help too with the bleeding etc...DaisyC
