I got bacteria meningitis and admitted to the hospital on June 8, 2011. I got out of the hospital June 28, 2011. Since than I have had vertigo on and off. I now have had it for 1 1/2 weeks. Has anyone else have this? What did you do? Thanks

I hope your symptoms have subsided a bit since your post. It takes a long time for things to get back to normal-if there is such a thing. Talk to your dr. maybe there is something he can do for you. Have you thought about acupuncture or the chiropractor for additional healing help? Get a ton of rest and focus on you. This is a major illness to recover from. Best of luck to ya

I sympathize with you. I got mine as a result of having swine flu 8 yrs ago. Mine is mainly managed by medication but I get alot of headaches. I have boutes of it when I get too tired and run down. I got a ear infection 5 days ago then inflammation in my gland so by yesterday morning I had the worst vertigo I've ever had. I'm a single mother of 3 young kids and when I have to drug myself up and sleep all day to help with the symptoms that makes my feel useless as a mother so I know how you feel contracting vertigo from another illness. Hang in there though there is always brighter days
