help my aunt get over this

my cousin just collapsed on last Wednesday , brain dead , life support was taken away on Friday , she was 35 would have been 36 , on same day life support ended she leaves behind a 7 yr old boy wondering when his mom is coming home from hospital, I don't know what her husband and all will tell him , I told my aunt that the truth is best , they should have let son go say goodbye to his mom in her brain dead state , am I wrong? And oh yes , she did go to a doctor around two weeks prior to her brain dying , I am sure there are a lot of questions to be asked of this practitioner , she was having bad headaches , I myself get headaches , but I go to a store and buy over the counter stuff, BUT WHEN YOU GO TO A DOCTOR FOR A HEADACHE , ITS NO ORDINARY HEADACHE YOU PRACTITIONER FOOLS, you have an obligation to help someone asking for honest help and trusting you in their hands , that's why she came to you!!

I don't know that having a 7 year old see his mother dead would be a good idea, I hope this didn't happen because that would be a lifelong trauma to deal with in his mind. Telling him and having some support with a counselor would be a better alternative.
I think the doctor who treated her two weeks prior without taking some blood tests to rule out why she was having such headaches or at least an MRI is unfortunately the lack of our medical establishment. To be sure she should have gone to a hospital or numerous doc's to get a straight answer. We all have to be pro-active on helping ourselves because we can't trust that our doctor will do all the necessary tests to rule out disease.
I'm so sorry she didn't get the help she deserved, and I'm so sorry for your loss.
