Meniere's Disease Support Group

Meniere's disease is a balance disorder of the inner ear. The symptoms of Meniere's are variable; not all sufferers experience the same symptoms. However, "classic Meniere's" is considered to comprise the following four symptoms: Periodic episodes of rotary vertigo, hearing loss, tinnitus, and a sensation of fullness or pressure in one or both ears.

16 days with no cigarette. My lungs feel stronger and healthier, I can feel better circulation in my arms and legs, all of my little nagging aches and pains have mysteriously disappeared, but most importantly, I rarely have a lightheaded or dizzy spell now. C.O.P.D. runs in my family, so I'm hoping I can dodge that now. All in all, it hasn't been as hard as I thought it would. Just thought I'd update everyone on how its going. Hope you all have a great weekend!

Fantastic! What an awesome outcome! I am so proud of you, from what I saw my father go through I know it is tough to stop smoking. Hats of to ya!

Hay, congratulations to you!! I hope you kick this thing, I hate smoking, lost my mom to lung cancer, my older brother has COPD and is disabled. Did you use the Chantix? No matter what the method you are to be congratulated!

Wow so cool to hear I got to day 4 and broke I know what u mean by the blood flow my vains pop out n hands and feet but when I stoped there werent like that wow what a great job I meed to stop and stick with it way to go buddy.....

I've got an e cigarette with no nicotine so when a bad craving hits I can deal with it without smoking the real deal. The liquid in it is just vegetable glycerine so its GOTTA be better than a real cig.

Congrats! You should be so proud of yourself because you have taken a really a huge step toward better health. It must have been difficult, but you overcame the challenge--way to go!

That is great news! I'm curious about what you did to make the big change in your life. I like to think anyone can quit if they commit themselves to doing it. Did you have help, or did you do it on your own?
Anyway congratulations for taking a giant step in the right direction.

Congratulations! Here is something I was not aware of when I quit and wish I did. While smoking the chemical makeup of the cig raises your blood sugar, this is why they help you loose weight. When you quit, the blood sugar goes back to normal and your body is not use to this so you might start eating to get your blood sugar back to where it was. The doctor asked me how much money I saved by not smoking and I told him none because I started buying food lol.
