Meniere's Disease Support Group
Meniere's disease is a balance disorder of the inner ear. The symptoms of Meniere's are variable; not all sufferers experience the same symptoms. However, "classic Meniere's" is considered to comprise the following four symptoms: Periodic episodes of rotary vertigo, hearing loss, tinnitus, and a sensation of fullness or pressure in one or both ears.
Have read alot about it. Does anyone use it, and to what sucess? And how much do you take?
I have mentioned trying this to several people in the MD group because it worked for me where Serc did not. It's also a lot cheaper. It took about 2 weeks for the full effects to take hold but it could be different for you.
I was taking 15mg twice a day. You will probably notice improvement in your clarity of vision and intensities in colours as well. Vinpo, as it's called here by the maker in Canada, can also affect your blood platelet count as I discovered so you can have your blood checked 2-3 times a year to make sure the count doesn't drop too low.
It's an extract from the Perwinkle plant and not man made. this doesn't make it free of any side effects but Serc didn't sit well with me.
It really turned my life around and prevented me from having any vertigo attacks in the future although after several years it doesn't seem to have the same affect due to the degeneratiive nature of Meniere's.
It's not costly and worth a try. Give it at least 2-3 weeks to see if it makes your world better. I've have had others try it and it worked for them but for one it caused headaches but she is prone to migranes.

I don't take anything else supplement wise either because I Wanted to know if it would really help. So far i am very please with the results and will keep everyone informed. I just hope it last,lol...
I get my Vinpocentine locally, From Vitiman World in our local Mall, I wanted one that was 10 mg. It is there own brand and US made and no other supplements added.
Try there website for a store located by you, I think you can order from them. I really dont like endorsing a product or company. Because i hate taking pills or supplements. I checked out Vitamin World online and with the internationally shipping, duty and broker fees UPS charges us Cdns..it would likely cost me close to $60 USD . So I hope trying this will help me as it appears to be helping you which is aewwwwwwwwwome!
