Meniere's disease is a balance disorder of the inner ear. The symptoms of Meniere's are variable; not all sufferers experience the same symptoms. However, "classic Meniere's" is considered to comprise the following four symptoms: Periodic episodes of rotary vertigo, hearing loss, tinnitus, and a sensation of fullness or pressure in one or both ears.
Hi All,
Anyone have any tips on how to use the computer without triggering vertigo? I use the computer a LOT for work. Which is good, because on days that I'm feeling dizzy, I can work from home. But it's bad because looking at the screen too long can trigger a really major vertigo episode. I try to take periodic breaks to keep my brain from going into overload, but is there anything else I can do? Change the lighting in the room? Are there any filter screens you can put over the screen to reduce the flickering (which is what supposedly triggers the vertigo)? Anything else anyone has tried?

YES YOU CAN BUY, A SCREEN TO HELP AND ALL SO DARKEN YOUR SCREEN YOUR SELF AND ITS GOOD TO TAKE THOSE BREAKS ,I THINK WE ALL HAVE THIS PROBLEM SOME TIMES I GET SICK TO MY STOMACH AND TAKE A REST, HANG IN THERE, HUGS SQUARLEY

Thanks for the advice. Decreasing the brightness is easy, so I'll do that today to see if it helps.

Try wearing sunglasses while you work. I pass a lot of time reading when I can't do any thing esle. I put my reading glasses on overtop my sunglasses. In other words I wear two pair of glasses at the same time. I look goofy but I can still read or go on the computer.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
