Meniere's Disease Support Group
Meniere's disease is a balance disorder of the inner ear. The symptoms of Meniere's are variable; not all sufferers experience the same symptoms. However, "classic Meniere's" is considered to comprise the following four symptoms: Periodic episodes of rotary vertigo, hearing loss, tinnitus, and a sensation of fullness or pressure in one or both ears.

I also had the gentamicin profusions but they didn't work for me, either. I think it's probably just different for everyone. Hoping the steroids work for you! I understand that it's helpful for a lot of people.
That popping noise goes on for a while to your eardrumb heals over. I guess its just preasure being released. It bugged me for a while but about a month after treatment it stops for the most part.
