Meniere's disease is a balance disorder of the inner ear. The symptoms of Meniere's are variable; not all sufferers experience the same symptoms. However, "classic Meniere's" is considered to comprise the following four symptoms: Periodic episodes of rotary vertigo, hearing loss, tinnitus, and a sensation of fullness or pressure in one or both ears.

Well I've just been told recently after three years and 3 ENT Dr's there is nothing left they can try for the MD. They never have really made a definite diagnosis. One says Yes then they say No it's not MD. I am currently being treated for breast cancer and it's easier than all the MD crap I have been going through. So frustrating. That's my rant for today. Not sure how to feel when you've been told there is nothing anyone can do for you.

Well this is kind of on the topics, since others are discussing Gi's:) I'm trying not to freak out too much as we all know what that does to MD but my dearly beloved's DRS' are really stressing us out. He had a colonoscopy and the growths were beign but now they are wanting him to get vaccinated for hep A&B and of course, Dr Orange would post on here about getting it from a procedure!? Now they are having him also see a hematologist...Hopefully I'll get some answers from him! Wish we could still send a message to the Doctors who post on here but i don't see how any more??
But Curlergirl, I just want to say U are in my prayers too and the rest of u...Seems we are paying more and more for health care now and it doesn't seem to be getting any better tho I read a story today about a lady who's been on dialysis for 40 years!! and she says it has gotten better so there is hope.
I do hope everyone has given ginger capsules a try as they have really helped my MD! not much luck with the tinnitus tho...
