Meniere's disease is a balance disorder of the inner ear. The symptoms of Meniere's are variable; not all sufferers experience the same symptoms. However, "classic Meniere's" is considered to comprise the following four symptoms: Periodic episodes of rotary vertigo, hearing loss, tinnitus, and a sensation of fullness or pressure in one or both ears.

Nasal Rinse

I was wondering if any of you use a nasal rinse on a regular basis? Do you find that it relieves any of your symptoms? My ENT recommended that I start one several months ago and now with severe congestion, and an extreme flare of my symptoms I'm almost "brave" enough to try it out. I'm quite squeamish when it comes to mucous so I'm a little afraid. Anyone have tips? Thanks in advance!

I was congested from the flu once and my gp told me to try the neti pot for relief. I asked her is she ever tried it and she said she tried it and almost drowned herself, but said that she has about 20 customers that swear buy it.

So I'd say to try it. It's an all natural product so it won't hurt and from what some have told me is it feels great afterwards.

Just wanted to let you guys know I've been using the nasal rinse daily and have noticed a bit of improvement in the pressure in my ears. Each time I use it, it is as if they "pop" from the inside out and they stay relatively clear for a spell afterword. I'm also hoping that this will assist for a better spring season for since it will hopefully be consistently rinsing away allergens. If any of you guys have more trouble during allergy season I would recomend giving it a try! Not a cure but definitely takes a bit of the edge off!
