Meniere's disease is a balance disorder of the inner ear. The symptoms of Meniere's are variable; not all sufferers experience the same symptoms. However, "classic Meniere's" is considered to comprise the following four symptoms: Periodic episodes of rotary vertigo, hearing loss, tinnitus, and a sensation of fullness or pressure in one or both ears.
alot of the time i cannot go to sleep very well and i have to get up for a while and then try to go back to sleep. well about 3 times i have been up just sitting at my dining room table just drinking some water and i felt kinda weird but not dizzy and when i look at the little light on my cordless phone it is going back and forth kinda fast like some one is moving it back and forth, but of course no one is. the first time this happened it took me a while to understand what was happening. when i noticed this i went around the house and looked at other light like my modem or coffee maker etc. and then when i focused on them they were going back and forth sideways kinda fast and i could.t make them still. but i didn't fell dizzy so to speak just kinda weird. when i looked away it didn't seem the world was doing this just the little lights. there wasn't any lights on in the house, but with a dusk to dawn light outside enough light i can get around through the house ok. i sat there and studied this the first time to make sure what i was seeing was really happening. they were going back an forth about 2 or 3 inches. i know this sounds crazy. wondered if anyone else ever noticed this.
You are describing what I had a few years ago, except it was the students in my classroom, sitting in their desks.... I'd watch them slide over and move back, slide over and move back.... I would sit down and teach....
