Meniere's disease is a balance disorder of the inner ear. The symptoms of Meniere's are variable; not all sufferers experience the same symptoms. However, "classic Meniere's" is considered to comprise the following four symptoms: Periodic episodes of rotary vertigo, hearing loss, tinnitus, and a sensation of fullness or pressure in one or both ears.
Hi, I have been diagnosied with a form of muscular dystrophy and also Meniere's. I have had symptoms that have been annoying and although there was some confusion which of the diseaeses was causing it, I think it might be the Meniere's. I am conatantly feeling a little lightheaded and my eyes feel like they are having trouble focusing although I see fine. By the end of the day, what I felt was fatigue, I feel like I just need to close my eyes. I tend to cut of the lights very early but sometimes it can take awhile before I actually fall asleep. The room does not spin but sometiems if I make a quick turn, I feel like I am going to faint.I have also had a tight feeling in my forehead but never pain. This is enough that I don't feel great and honestly feel like I would really like to spend the day in bed. I am working and as long as I am busy seem to be able to tolerate it but cannot say I feel great. Does this sound familiar.

I also experience the feeling of lightheadedness when I turn my head quickly, especially toward the affected ear. And by the end of the day, especially if I've been busy in the house, I will feel very fatigued - in body and mind I guess you could say. But on a whole other level than just tired at the end of the day.
