Meniere's Disease Support Group
Meniere's disease is a balance disorder of the inner ear. The symptoms of Meniere's are variable; not all sufferers experience the same symptoms. However, "classic Meniere's" is considered to comprise the following four symptoms: Periodic episodes of rotary vertigo, hearing loss, tinnitus, and a sensation of fullness or pressure in one or both ears.
My doctor just scheduled me for surgery after the first of the year. I am unsure what to expect. I have no idea what recovery will be like. I have a husband with a busy job and 4 kids. Thanks for all the help!
There is also another doctor in Tampa that allows people to inject themselves with Dex steroid shots into their ears- very cost effective in comparison to having to setup up an appointment/ drive out there/take a shot and pay your copay etc etc etc.
