Meniere's disease is a balance disorder of the inner ear. The symptoms of Meniere's are variable; not all sufferers experience the same symptoms. However, "classic Meniere's" is considered to comprise the following four symptoms: Periodic episodes of rotary vertigo, hearing loss, tinnitus, and a sensation of fullness or pressure in one or both ears.

Can hearing lost cause by MD

Can hearing lost by MD be stopped? Can MD go away and your hearing lost turn back to normal?

my hearing lost from tinnitus and a friend suggest that i should look form Upper Cervical care treatment to inprove my hearing; good lucks.

The trend is that the longer you have MD the greater your chance of hearing loss. We all have fine hairs in our inner ear that detect noise and balance. When you have a MD attack these hairs often die out gradually. This happens naturally when you get older. The more hairs you loose more difficult it is to pick up sound. Some folks who do not have major problems with MD seem not to loose much hearing. It is a case by case thing, no standard or time frame, can be short or long period. Once the hairs are dead or gone they do not come back.

Hi...

Your doctor should have given you the facts. Many people have fluctuating hearing loss....normal one day...the next abnormal, then back again....eventually you lose your hearing.

My ENT nor my MD does not tell anything apart from that nothing can be done or no MD is going deal with it. They cannot treat it (my ENT said this
