Just wanted to send everyone a hug but couldn't find a button to do it. You have all been amazing and the level of honesty in here is second to none. There isn't a better group of people anywhere. I know it helps me and hopefully helps you all to see the roller coaster were all on and that even at our worst we have friends who finally understand.
It's amazing what a circle of treatment and attitude we all have. (ie Were not sick they say....Were very sick.....No one believes us..... And all the other revolving doors we all go through. But here we have a place that when they don't believe the group does. When were thinking were nuts someone tells us were not.
I dont count myself as gifted for having this illness, but I do count you all as gifts in my life and hope one day to be as helpfull to you and others as you all have been to me and others.

P.S. (for Cat) Don't worry I have taken a midol to cure this obviously sweetish behavior.

Back in the bad old days, I probably tried just about everything, from Peyote to mandrake root for no good reason, and I know we'd do almost anything to slow down this illness, but...
Midol? That's crossing the line, bro. That stuff will make you crazy. Particularly guys. I work in community mental health, and I've seen where it leads. And I'm not talking about tea parties, or gender variant behavior-- I work in the big city, nothing shocks me, we probably need more of that, not less. I mean the culture that surrounds the drug-- the gangs, the guns, the loud music and lawless lifestyle.
Don't do it, man. Think of your family.
