I know I haven't been here long, and am a terrible text hog. I'm sorry for that. Its like a diary that answers, really cool. I see the Rhumy thursday, and saw the Internal med guy today. He had spoken with my pulmonologist who says I now have Interstitial Lung Disease. Scaring is all I've read so far. I only went to the doc because I have 2 blood clots in my forearm. One started a few days ago and noticed the second today. I haven't seen allot of talk about blood clots. I get them in my arms and legs even though I was up to recently very active. These came without injury. There testing my clotting factors for something idk what. From what I have heard today They are not going to let me go back to work but idk. Ladders and stairs and fresh air or scba might be a problem. Is it normal for once you get a positive result the flood gates open and they try to name everything they neglected for years. I need them to slow down, prioritize and rate risk. Right now anxiety is a biggy to me. Im thinking of recording the office visits so I can go back later and re listen. We all have phases when we freak out. I had one 10 days after a fall/8 days after a vaccine because the blood redistributed into my ankle and I thought I might be having an autoimmune, vaccine induce clotting issue. I was also having a severe vaccine/flare.
Aside* I'm a vet tech and that reaction and autoimmune response are not uncommon.
I was over reacting and put myself into severe panic.
Vent here. We listen. We've been there and we understand.
I'm still waiting on a firm systemic diagnosis. So far, I have localized scleroderma. I follow up with my new rheumy, on 12/21.
All I want for CHristmas is a Dx!!!! ;)
