Swollen Foot

Has anyone experience swelling and pain on the top side of one foot? I did not injure it and there is no bruising, just swelling. It is really painful to walk on.

Might be a stress fracture. You can get one just stepping down too hard on your foot.

I get random unexplained swelling and pain, not as bad now that I am on the meds......mine would last a day or two and go away only to show up again somewhere else.

I have the same issue. I get swelling and pain on my feet and it stayes for two days. But doctors couldnt give any explaination.

That is where my problem all began in my right large tie joint . Swollen, painful could barely walk. Took Dr about 2 yrs to dO blood work that's when I got the dx of mctd. Pos ANA.
I guess it attacked my foot first and really messed it up. Had surgery last year to repair the damage and that is when the rest of my body started falling apart. Dizziness, chest pain, sharp pains all througout
Y head, floaty feeling, memory loss , fatigue, just overall ill feeling

I also find it is easy to sprain my foot. For some reason my feet have been always easily prone to injury. You may have just tweaked it as for now. However when taking prednisone in the past I have had abnormal amounts of swelling that were not always equal. Do remember that you can injure yourself without always realizing it, there is not always an immediate reaction. For example I am pretty sure I simply stepped wrong earlier today and now my foot is hurting pretty badly.
