Good news today
obviously its not about health, but its about the disability insurance short and long term that I've been paying for for over 20 years.
Short Term. I was very surprised when I found out that after I was out of work for 4 months with so called pneumonia and returned to work. That me working one hour as a medically released employee I became eligible For another 6 months Immediately unless it was the same condition. (it wasn't ,MY Mctd)
Now the new news
Long term
I was under the understanding that I had 2 years of coverage. and then try for social security. I was wrong. My coverage is till age 67. there is a provision that after 2 years they can attempt to help train me to find suitable work for a set pay grade that has available openings. for a more stationary job than I currently do.
=0) pretty good news in my book
Best news is still a long way off
"here's a shot and all this will go away and you can have the life you knew back" but as far as one of my fears I at least know we have some time to try and fix all this

That is wonderful news! So glad to hear it. Financial stress is a killer, and any stress makes this disease worse.
