I've worked 25 years in 3 different jobs. I've always given 2 weeks notice before the next job. I've never outright quit or been fired.
The lupus/MCTD has progressed to the point that I can no longer perform my job satisfactorily.
Both my employer and I know this is the true reason why. I knew I needed a less stressful job and was always going to put in at Costco or JoAnn's (craft store), etc. but kept putting it off.....
They've got me on a Critical Incident of No Follow Up infraction on an email, which is BS, but it's legit.
Well here I am. The info I'm getting is to quit and then I can come up with a good reason why I quit. (which I, of course, can't think of)
Any and all advise/opinions would be most appreciated!

I sympathize with the pain killers too. It's been really hard this last year or so.
I could just kick myself for not getting a new job earlier, but I didn't want to lose my FMLA and my job paid twice as much as I'll make at something "less stressful"
