Just back from my second Rheumy visit. Went over my bloodwork and to no surprize my ANA and RNP positive again

He said my Mitochondrial (M2) Antibody was high at 60.3 but he just wanted to keep an eye on it.
I asked for my usual copy of my blood test results and see that a positve is >24.9 so I was a little concerned with how high mine is. Has anyone here tested positive fore that and know what it is all about. Not much about it online but I did see this:
What Abnormal Results Mean:
This test is important for diagnosing primary biliary cirrhosis. Up to 94% of patients with this condition are positive for this test. Less than 1% of people without the condition test positive.
Abnormal results may also be found, less often, in people with other kinds of liver disease and some autoimmune diseases.
Have any of you tested positive for Mitochondrial (M2) Antibody?
On a separate note, this past month I have had 3 canker sores and he is a little baffled because I don't have dry mouth and Sjorgen's antibodies are negative. I also NEVER had but one canker sore (when I was a teen) my whole life until now. He did say that some Dr's believe that something viral can rev up autoimmune diseases that lie unnoticed.....Have any of you heard of that?

I have never heard of this before. Let me see if I can dig up some info for you and I'll post the links. Sorry to hear it. :(

I have had trouble with canker sores all my life. Usually a couple times a year. I've only had one canker sore flare up since this disease became active but it was the largest I've ever had, spanning about halfway across my upper gums. I don't have dry mouth or the Sjorgens antibodies either.
