Prior to my diagnosis of MCTD in December I suffered from almost constant nausea and vomiting and was on Compazine then Promethazine which I still take when I suffer from the occasional bought of nausea.
When I started on Prednisone it was like magic the nausea and vomiting disappeared almost overnight. After almost three years of suffering I was relieved. However now whenever I taper down to between 10-12 on Prednisone the nausea and vomiting come flooding back along with my other symptoms.
Does or has anyone else experienced this?
Im trying desperately to taper off these steroids as I just suffered a stress fracture in my foot and am not too keen on fracturing anything else.
Short of it I want off the steroids. But how can I do that if I cant stop the nausea/vomiting cycle? Help?!?!?!

Anyway, I use to get nausea, not all the time and not severe. But it wasn't nice.
I started on 20mg of Prednisone and I had no nausea either. But now I've started drop down, the past 3 nights I've felt nauseous. Not sure if this is related to dropping down the Prednisone.
