But I'm going to get on the strider for 20 minutes even if it's slow, and do some crunches and curls. I am also really bummed because my stomach freaked out-- that WAS the MCTD, I think... and I lost three pounds in about 24 hours. Very hard to put it back on, driving me crazy.
But do it! See if you can do 20 minutes, gently, of something... and Maz, so glad to hear you are stretching! Am I nuts, or do you sound a little better?

Cat-I've had tummy troubles too. Was told it's not due to Lupus; didn't realize it might be from the MCTD.
yeah it's too hot, he said go to the mall, to to the church and ask, go to I forgot lol
anyway does your doctor tell you too excerise?
We just moved to Illinois, just east of St. Louis, MO. Hot, hot, hot!!! and Humid! My asthma actually hasn't bothered me too much...thank goodness! I've been to the gym 4-5 days weekly for the last couple of weeks, weight lifting and doing the ellip for 30 minutes at a time. I feel great, so far. Off all prednisone, which made me a little anxious at first, but with all of the exercise, my energy level has maintaned nicely. I took a bit of a hit with the move...very stressful, which is my trigger!
I know we all lack a little motivation at times, but lets not forget that even the smallest things can do wonders for our minds, spirits and our bodies!!
Hope you're all well,
N
