do read our posts and discussions. you will find we have a plethora of symptoms between us, some severe others just plain annoying and even embarrassing but we talk about it all on this site.

skin issues include ulcers, lumps bumps and rashes of every description, i have thinning skin. cortisone cream, the strong stuff is required. are you taking prednisone? and plaquinal?

people here use all sorts of stuff. drinking water, a lot, helps skin immensly. cocunut oil, grapeseed oil i even put olive oil on hair and skin and found a bit of improvement.

no sun, ever for me. hats and sunscreen.

Yes i get the numbness in face and tongue also. It does tend to come and go and really hasn't worsened for me. hugs Marilyn

My tongue hurts sometimes ,Ive woke up a few nights with it,thought it was kinda weird. I used to get numb face but now my meds are working really well so Im almost symptom free

My doctor thinks that the 5th cranial nerve is irritated and is hoping the medication may make it go away? There is some hope.

Ya, sounds like a tricky differential diagnosis (not that I really know.) Anything that even smells like TMJ or any cranial nerve, can be hard to figure out what's going on...

But, sometimes those symptoms can come and go, too. I'm voting for GO! Best wishes for a speedy remission...

You could try a canial sacral massage to relieve the pain. Some chiropractors do it or can recommend someone. It is amazing how much it helps.....and no medication!!!

I swear by cranial sacral massage, worth every penny when done right!
