As a child, as most children I had no fear
Running and playing as if each day would last forever
But as I grew I learned this naked child needed help
Not from others, from himself to help him fend off the troubles of life
I first gained a shield, a shield of faith
Something to protect me from the arrows of words
As I grew I earned a Helm of Knowledge and wisdom
To help me guide my path looking over my shield of faith
I then obtained the chest piece of compassion
To help protect my heart and my intent to help others
I next found the leggings of motivation
To follow and pursue my heart, my faith and my knowledge
And as I obtained these items I grew
And they grew with me
Forming the knight in life I expected of myself
Then my sword, the sword of strength
The strength I had to fight any battle
Lastly finding the boots, the boots of desire
My desire to go forward
And make a simple mark on the world with the life I was given
Then obtaining a family
To become a provider, protector, a father
And then the horns sounded
The true battle had commenced
A battle I had only heard whispers of yet knew of its existence
First ripping away my shield
My shield of faith, finding it was only paper promises
Then a blow to my head freeing my helm of knowledge
Because my enemy was unknown
Next fell my leggings of motivation
I no longer knew what to do as the battle was destroying me
And then dropping my sword, my sword of strength
It was now to heavy for me to wield
Next my chest piece, all compassion had left me
Compassion seeming to have left no only me but the world
And then looking to my reflection from my fallen shield
I turn to make sure what I see is truly me
Standing inside my boots of desire
Was boy, not a man
Destroyed and unable to move
The boots were to heavy now
The desire to go forward was gone

I apologize for my discontent, Im very tired of every day waking up like this it is weighing heavy on me. And all hope in Doctors is gone.
