Has anyone been to Mayoclinic

My co workers which are a ob Dr and a nurse think tha I should go to the mayo clinic.... i juast dont know its so far away and we would have to stay there for like a week but am thinking about it .

Well I have such a variety of sx's and I am getting worse and no one is able to help. They are trying but nothing is working. I see neurologist next week so I think that's when we will make out final decision.
My internist thinks that I should go.. She has about 4 of her Mctd patients that go . They just are on top of all new research and new data I guess. The Minnesota clinic is where the rheumatology dept is. I think anyway. Idk I am just grasping for help as my health is getting worse and my Dr don't know what to do

I have been to Mayo in JX Florida twice for my MCTD and CVID. It has helped tremendously. The Rheumatologist I see there is Dr. Benjamin Wang. He has been a huge life saver to me. I encourage all of you to go. The campus there is quite manageable. I stay at the Inn at Mayo Clinic right on the campus and save money but not having a car. I manage everything with just a few cab rides out for supplies. It is not what I would call a fun vacation but I think it has been life changing both times and I won't hesitate to go back.
