Besides saying you might have bad infection, other things I will not aT you need to get to doctor now. Then no I have no ideas. I know it gets hard going I say at home for last couple of weeks finally got wherever I couldn't breathe last night almost called ambulance was throwing occur 16 a minute I guess on machine alarms were off. I should have went any got very scared I had damaged my heart worse while waiting to be brought up to my room. I will be here for a few days this is since Wednesday. I just hope u go I know it gets hard going for eCho new thing but it sounds like u need to go take care

I have not had it this bad, but I do sometimes get chills like that. I usually take a warm bath and that seems to help for the most part. My rheumy was questioning me about chills the last time I was there, so I would assume that this could be connected to the mctd, but I can't say for certain. I do think you need to at least check in with the doc just to make sure you don't have some kind of infection going on.

I just read what I typed while,throwing pvcs and not able to breathe in er not easy to understand. I go through chills,and sweats to the point of soaking but to have the chills last that long and continuous does not seem right with my experience,and advice to see doctor seems good. Still not well just released,from hospital,because I am better or given my IPF and heart issues better. The hospital was full and they asked ifI thought I wanted to go home. Anyway believe you need to see doctor. Take care Tj

I do get chills to usually at nightime . Sometimes they are so bad
I have to go take a hot bath just do I can get warm enough to go to bed . I sleep in flannel pj now which always irritated me before and I am much more comfortable now . Bath is what works for me also .
I do not run temp so idk what it is

I rarely run temp including when I had sepsis I don't bother explaining this to doc anymore by the time I need admitted I don't have the energy they always think I just drank something cold or treat me just in case I just got filled up on antibiotics with no temp I am getting better. I get tired of fighting. Anyway I won't be the only one who will tell u this. Sepsis almost killed Mr and I never broke 100 degrees. Take care Tj

I only get the chills when I am flaring.....then I need heated blankets and those hot packs you put in the microwave.....it seems to settle in my lower back.......hot tea and puppy cuddles help too.

I need puppies

I was getting this really bad after my methotrexate shots for 2 days bath helped but she lowered my med dose and that helped the most not sure what your on but I was dropping my immune sys too much . i also get
a mild form of this when i am having a flare due to an infection try to see what else is going on try to see if there is a pattern with your meds or how you feel good luck -michelle

First thank you all for the advice.
it got worse than has stopped.
I started having shortness of breath with my chills and my pulse was dropping to the low 80s while my pulse oxygen went to 79. Little scary.
I has not happened in a few days so hopefully that new sysmptoms gone.

Happens all the time since winter started...I seem to be having a hard time with weather change. Hot baths and rice packs are my answer. At work I keep my space heater on high all day and everyone who enters my office have to stand in the door to tolerate it...lol
