I had total hair loss for over 12 years. I finally got my hair back, but leg, arm, under arm never came back full force. I only have to shave about once a month. I wore wigs for many years. I wanted to have a wig made from hair that I had cut several years earlier, but I was told that it has to be fresh hair and very expensive. In the days when I lost my hair it was not as cool, if that is what you want to call it to be bald. But now with more cancer patients, I don't think you get the strange looks like it was 30 years ago. On upside is if you get your hair back it, it is like getting new born hair. I am not nearly as gray as my counter parts my age. That is the silver lining and saving money on hair cut and color.
I am starting to loose my hair again, but this time it does not bother me as much. I feel my health is more important than my vanity.

I wish those 5 hairs I have under my arms would go away. Maybe laser? LOL!

I lost a lot of mine and ended up shaving it down to stubble.....it was very easy to style...lol. It has come back but hardly any underarm hair and legs.....I went from shaving my legs everyday to shaving every third day.

Always look on the bright side or find the humour....at least thats how i handle it.

I tried a few wigs....didnt like them, they made me too hot!

We need an MCTD fashion show for comedic relief. I am willing to model my bald head and moon face...maybe even my purple swollen and wait for it...now crusty feet.

I think I posted a picture of me after I shaved my head. You have to have a sense of humour to get through some of this stuff!
