I have disk degeneration with the MCTD, so not much they can do about it. Ibprophen and pain killers.
I do know it is much, much worse when I sit for a long time, I'll get up and can barely swing my leg forward in order to walk. Weird I know, but the more I can move the better my back feels.
All our nerves run down the back though, no telling which one is getting pinched, it can be tricky business.
