Ok I just want to see if anyone else had this weird thing going on. I am sitting here and I start having these weird episodes kinda like butterflies in your tummy but they start kinda in my chest and move up o my head and then dizzy and feel like im going to pass out. Then I get kinda but no tightness in my chest and spasms in my throat. This started in march after i had surgery and after goign to the ER twice and I dont even know how many Dr visits but I am so burned out ad dont know when I am supposed to go. I have to tell y 13yr to call 911 if i pass out. how horrible is that . I hate involving her but i also dont want her to find me somewhere passed out or worse. I ahve had all the tests and I guess everything is normal. after this episode I also had some palpitations which I have had on and off for the last mths. I am very tired and just dont feel to hot but I keep on trucking along so IDK could this be a flare up????

I wonder if it is a med that you're on or a combination. The pharmacist might be able to help you figure it out. I was having a racing heart and figured out it was the antihistamine I was on. I rarely take it now.... I upped my vitamin c level.
I know you have been to the dr.'s many times but you need to keep going until it is figured out.
Hope you figure it out or it just goes a away quickly!

Maybe anxiety? Seems that a lot of people on here have issues with anxiety, depression, etc. I started having anxiety attacks after having my son - post pardum, but it's never really gone away. Good luck!!

My husband gets these and when he does it is anxiety. Then he gets all worked up over the symptoms which makes the anxiety worse. And that fact that it comes out of nowhere when he has nothing to be anxious about doesn't help with thinking it is something else going on. He just had a stress test to rule out anything else and it all seems fine. You might ask your doc to do a stress test to check on the palpitations to ease your mind a little bit. Maybe he could give you some xanax or something to help too.

my heart goes out to you, and anyone else who as to talk their young child throught what to do if anything happens.
roughly 10 - 11 yrs ago I had a seizure, in the toilet at home and the only person in was my daughter who was 12- 13 at the time. i had never had a seizure beforeand she was brilliant. So please dont worry too much kids are brillant at this afterward they might suffer with sock but from other people reports at the time they are brilliant.

As for the reason for your attacks meds or anxiety does sound about right but talk to your doctors and keep records of when were and how long they last.... infomation is key

My first heart operation was when I was 18, So I've seen some cardiologist. How often do these attacks happen? If they are somewhat frequent, you can ask him to give you a 24 hour to 48 hour halter. It has a button on it that you push if you think your having palpitations or anything abnormal. They review the whole recording paying closer attention to the times you had clicked. Great tool to either ease your mind or start to pinpoint a starting point. Intermittent problems are really hard to find, so the longer ECG helps allot.
